Terms and conditions
The market management reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice. Your submission of an application to trade at the Bosmark constitutes your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
About the venue
Inibos is a beautiful outdoor venue with a ”bushy” feel and lots of paths for visitors to walk. No electricity is available on site and exhibitors are required to make use of gas for cooking and other needs. As the venue makes use of a borehole, water is available but not at the stall areas.
General
The market is a non-smoking event, smoking will not be permitted at stall, market, or children’s play area. As with any event, we cannot guarantee visitor numbers, but we will do our utmost to ensure that you have a successful market, but bad weather or other interruptions is out of our control. All vendors are responsible for own PPE equipment and sanitizers for their own stalls.
Products
All products to be offered for sale must be listed on the application form. Products shall not be sold by vendors without prior approval from the market management. In the event of a vendor wishing to alter the type or range of goods traded, management must be notified, and these changes will be subject to prior approval.
Applications
Applications for stalls are considered on the variety and balance of products offered at the market, overlap and impact on other stallholders and how attractive products are to our average market visitor. By applying you are not automatically accepted to trade at the market. Your application will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be notified.
The market management reserves the right to refuse applications without having to justify its decision or having to provide reasons for the rejection.
Stall reservation and fees
A stall can only be reserved upon your application being successful. Stall space is let to the vendor stated and may not be sub-let to any other party.
The cost of once-off exhibition space is R150.
Stall allocation
Allocation of vendor space at the venue is at the sole discretion of the market management. The market layout is changed constantly as it grows, and your stall will not necessarily have the same allocation each time. Stalls are allocated to best fit the layout, look, and feel of the market as a whole. Please do not request shade as this is not considered when planning the stall layout.
Parking & unloading
Vehicles may enter the market area and unload directly at your stall area. Thereafter the vehicle shall be moved to the designated vendor parking area no later than 16h30. No vehicles will be allowed behind or near the stall areas after such time. The market and surrounding areas are to be kept car-free due to safety and environmental requirements.
Stall set up and presentation
Vendors shall bring their own tables, chairs, umbrella/canopy/gazebo, tablecloths, fixtures, and fittings necessary to exhibit their products. We strongly advise vendors to plan for hot or rainy weather to protect themselves and their goods and possessions. It is advisable to presume that there will not be any shade and to adequately prepare for this.
Vendors shall not place goods outside their designated areas or encroach on other vendors' designated areas. You may display your work in any way you choose, but must ensure that any display racks/shelves or signs are stable and secure and will not cause any hazard or obstruction to other vendors or visitors.
The stall area must be kept in a clean and tidy condition throughout the market, and is the responsibility of the vendor. All storage and packing material must be removed from the stall area or sealed from view before the start of the market. All rubbish, waste and packaging must be taken away by the vendor. Bins provided do NOT cater for vendor rubbish. The stall area must be left in the condition it was provided.
Market management has the right to request vendors to remove any of their exhibits or to make alterations to their display if they are deemed unsuitable, create a hazard or for any other legitimate reason. Market management further reserves the right to request any vendor to vacate the premises, should their stall or any aspect thereof not meet the required standards.
Trading conduct
Set up may commence from 15h00. Bosmark trading hours for vendors are from 17h00 to 20h00*. Stalls must be occupied and trade during this time. All stalls must remain open until closing time. Vendors shall remove all fixtures and fittings and clear the site no later than 21h00. Stalls that do not adhere to this arrangement may lose their exhibition space at the market.
*Depending on the demand, number of visitors and seasonal changes, the market times may be adjusted.
Vendors and/or their helpers/employees must conduct themselves in an orderly manner and shall not use obscene language. Abusive or anti-social behavior whilst on site, by vendors or anyone associated with that person, will result in instant dismissal from the event. Abusive behavior, either verbal or written, towards market management or staff, will not be tolerated and will result in instant dismissal from event and any future events.
The use of radios, speakers or other instruments used in a manner likely to cause a nuisance to other vendors and visitors are prohibited.
Vendors are responsible to collect their own payment from customers via cash or other payment methods (credit card machines/Snapscan/ABSA payment pebble, FNB ewallet etc).

Cancellations
The market will trade in all weather conditions. No credits or refunds are issued in the case of poor weather on market day.
If you are unable to make it on market day, please let us know via telephone call as early as possible in the morning so that we can fill the space as open stall spaces look unprofessional and negatively impact the market. If you have not arrived to set up at least half an hour before the start of the market and have also not contacted us to inform what has happened we will assume cancellation and your spot will be reallocated/filled.
Limitation of liability
Market management will put in place all reasonable measures to ensure that the market goes ahead as advertised. However, we cannot be held responsible for events that are outside our control which lead to a change in, or cancellation of the market.
We are not responsible for any injury or accident caused by any vendor's product or exhibit, damage to or theft of their stock/property whilst attending our market.
Damage/injury caused by a vendors’ products or stall is their own responsibility and thus we advise that vendors have their own public liability insurance. It is each vendor's personal responsibility to ensure that they always trade legally and safely.
Indemnity
Vendors shall indemnify market management from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, debts, liabilities and attorney’s fees arising out of, claimed on account of, or in any manner predicated upon loss or damage to the property or the injuries or the death of any and all persons whatsoever, in any manner caused or contributed to by the vendor or their employees while in, upon or about the property where in the stall is located, or while going to or departing from the same and to indemnify market management from and or any account of damages of any kind which may be suffered as the result of the acts of any of any market contractors, agents, or employees in or about the property the market is at.
Why apply?
Bosmark is a unique market that's held on Fridays, once a month at Inibos. The market started in 2021 and has grown to be a special occasion for visitors and vendors alike.
As we are intent on holding our market to high standards and keeping it as diverse as possible, we limit the amount of similar items to be displayed at our market. This means we only except top quality vendors, and you'll have the best opportunity to introduce your products to potential customers.
